In highschool it was a tradition amongst my friends to spend New Year’s Eve in St Johnsbury. A typical New Year’s entertainment included, puppet shows, silent movies, a hypnotist, and a procession by Bread & Puppet. I would usually camp out in one of the many churches for lotsof yummy church supper style entrees. One year I ate 9 pieces of pie and never regretted a moment. (The Greek Orthodox church had the best pie.)
