Portraits: Learning About Lips, Faces

I would have to say that one of the most attractive things about a person for me is their lips.
Until recently I didn’t really like my own.
Over time, I have come to realize that I do have similar lips to those that I desire.
As a photographer, it is difficult to look at yourself because you can pick and choose your beauty, constructing it out of whatever you deem fit. I look for people with beautiful lips, strong jaw bones and very angular faces. I think those facial attributes come together to make really stunning portraits. It isn’t easy for to get interesting people to pose for you but that is half the fun.
Portrait Tip#1. Do not put sunscreen on your face before a portrait, it will make you look greasy and disgusting.
Portrait Tip#2. L’oreal purezone makes a great moisturizer that doesn’t seem to be makeup but secretly is.
