Learning To Paint
Recently I have learned to paint.
Recently, my parents bought a very ugly house , but for a very good price. It has a view of the Connecticut River and was priced 100k less than a house with toxic mold and ugly metal garages, so I think they came out ok. One of my main complaints with the house was that it has warm toned accents everywhere and cold toned paint. This is my hell. The walls would always look dirty and everything just looked like crap. The house has tons of other issues, including, no storage space, one bathroom, and a completely useless room. In my quest to finally get my portfolio ready for architect school in Hawai’i, I decided to go about fixing some of those problems. After an arduous process that included three near death experiences and a trek across Greenland, we selected Martha Stewart Signature ™ Parchment as our color. My next step will be to install Shaker Peg rail to form a functional mudroom/foyer. If you don’t know, Shakers put pegs everywhere and would hang anything from them, including, chairs, bookcases and vacuum cleaners.

So maybe you can’t tell the difference but I can. Not only is that area of my house much nicer, and brighter but I think the Martha Stewart Signature(tm) paint fumes, caused me to become a better cook and homemaker.
