Boundaries: Maya Lin
Wednesday, February 15th, 2006I feel in love with Maya Lin’s work after watching the documentary about her work Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision. I specifically enjoy her work at the Southern Poverty Law Center and the Wexner Center in Ohio. Boundaries is a look at Lin’s other work, including more architecture and installation pieces. Of all of her work, I specifically enjoy her work that deals with landscape in way or another. Her piece at the Wexner center draws its form from the native american burial grounds of her childhood, yet is constructed from three types of broken glass.
