I love pressing buttons.

A glass manufacturing business such as Simon Pierce’s is a very energy intensive one. However, when Simon Piece was renovating the old mill structure in Quechee, VT they bought a retired Westinghouse electric turbine from a hydro electric station somewhere in Nova Scotia. I don’t know much of the electricity that is generated on site goes towards powering the glass furnaces but I do know that all of the electrical needs of the building are met by the hydro electric turbine.
