I’m a huge fan of Wendy Carlos specifically her Switched on Bach and Well Tempered Synthesizer albums.

You should buy both of these albums and think about them in the context of analog vs digital photography.

I also think you should dress like Bach in the top album cover.

I’m a little bit closer to what I want to achieve with my polaroid printer.

This is an orchid from the Murdough orchid garden at Dartmouth College. I used the mosaic filter to create the blocky feel and then I over-compressed the image to create texture from the jpeg compression artifacts.

I wanted to make the image really blocky, like something from an Atari game or The Moonanites on ATHF.

A little known fact is that blue dyes in this type of Polaroid film develop much quicker than the red tones.

The Gordon Institute of Art has the following thing to say.

Don’t expose all of the image you are going to put together the same way.
Don’t move from where you are standing or you will ruin the whole thing.
