I have spent a lot of time thinking about the built environment lately.

One of my favorite photography locations is The Von Trapp Family Lodge in Stowe, VT. It has a lot going on. I love how well the various sections of the main building fit together. There is a wonderful ordered geometry to the intersection points of the structure. This is in contrast to most resorts of a similar age because in the 80s the Von Trapp Family Lodge was destroyed in a fire and rebuilt from scratch. It is sort of a new-old building.
There are also amazing condos, and villas that I have yet to document.

I really can’t help myself from pressing buttons.
